Having immersed myself within the hospitality industry over the last 25 years, in various senior leadership roles, I fully understand the needs of the guest and as Ian Kidd Consulting I am dedicated to developing the hospitality leaders of tomorrow and working alongside you to better your organisation.

Throughout I have gained invaluable experience at all levels across hospitality operations (F&B, Rooms, Capital Management, Pre-Opening Project Management, Quality Improvements and Analysis and Leadership Development).

My story

 

Hospitality has taught me how key principles can be adapted and utilised in multiple industries but most importantly it has taught me about emotional intelligence and human connections.

My proven dedication and strategic thinking has seen me spend 10 years with the Maybourne Hotel Group, specifically Claridge’s, before moving to Mandarin Oriental Paris.

Following three years in France, I had the pleasure of joining The Savoy where I held the position of Hotel Manager which saw me taking responsibility for all operational components, the professional wellbeing of 600 colleagues and all project management within the capital fund. During this time I was also an active board member of the Northbank BID.

I then successfully led the team on behalf of Accor at the iconic Carton House, near Dublin for a nine month renovation and rebranding project to position it as the first Fairmont in Ireland.

I remain fully determined, motivated and hungry to grow and wish to align my values of trust, integrity and honesty with those who are like minded. Those who know me know my core competencies, my personality and my attention to detail. Those who don’t will have this to discover.
